Little Big Words' cast of characters are drawn from the left hand of Toronto-based illustrator,
Kelli Wood. Kelli has been drawing and colouring for as long as she can remember.
Through the years her imaginary friends have found their way throughout her life in the margins
of schoolbooks, the backs of business cards and in the corners of coffee napkins.
She has stayed true to herself in everything that she’s created. Her love for a simple, fun,
optimistic and playful way of life is showcased in her works of art.
The Little Big Words project is her humble attempt at making the world a better place,
and was founded by her favourite set of beliefs:
LIFE IS FUN. SOMETIMES FUNNY.
IT'S IN THE BIG THINGS. AND THE LITTLE THINGS.
HUMOUR MAKES EVERYTHING BETTER.
PERSONALITY CANNOT BE PHOTOSHOPPED.
BE AUTHENTIC AND EXPRESS YOURSELF.
ENERGY IS CONTAGIOUS. ESPECIALLY OPTIMISM.
THIS WILL ALWAYS INSPIRE OTHERS.
LIFE IS BEST WHEN IT IS SHARED.
When she’s not working on LittleBigWords, she can usually be found on her hot yoga mat,
tucked away in a Starbucks admiring the many works of Jim Henson, Seth Godin
or Tim Burton, shopping for sneakers, or doing anything that makes her feel like a kid again.
